CENTURY (100 MILES)
If you've never done one, this ride is the perfect time to try it. The profile is very flat, very few inclines and none of them steep. This year's Century ride was a new path and much improved based on your comments.
70 MILE RIDE "Park to Playa to Park"
From Griffith Park to Shoreline Aquatic Park, Long Beach, and return.
Ride option: Return from Long Beach via the METRO (Blue Line and Red Line to LA's Union Station) then bike last 10 miles back to Griffith Park making it a 45 mile ride.
HALF CENTURY (50 MILES)
From Griffith Park to the City of Paramount and return.
36 MILE TRAINING RIDE
From The Autry to Maywood Riverfront Park and back. You'll spend 8 miles on the river path and detour through downtown for the remaining miles.
15 MILE FAMILY RIDE
This ride is perfect for families as the entire route is on a dedicated bike path on the river. For ages 7 and up.
Kid's 12 and under ride for free thanks to Paramount City Parks and Recreation. All Children must be accompanied by an adult.
KIDS' RIDE AND FUN FAIR
For 2011, the Kid's Ride was
FREE thanks to Paramount City Parks and Recreation. The ride introduced young children to important bike safety lessons through fun, interactive activities. Kids 6 and under practiced their riding techniques on a festive bike loop. Bikes and trikes were welcome - all riders must wear a helmet. Prizes and t-shirts for all registrants.
