The 12th Annual Los Angeles River Ride is  If you've never participated in our signature event, the Los Angeles River Ride, it's a great year to start! If you've participated in several River Rides, you'll be sure to have another exciting time as we've listened to your comments and made changes and improvements to the ride!

CENTURY, 70 MILE, HALF CENTURY, 36 MILE, FAMILY & KIDS. Join over 2000 other riders, and enjoy a great day of cycling fun, an Eco Expo, raffle, live music and an International Food Faire.

PARKING ALERT: Due to massive DWP construction in Griffith Park, parking will be severely limited for the River Ride. All available parking for the River Ride within Griffith Park is reserved for the family and kid's ride participants. HOWEVER, we have contracted with Disney to provide parking for the longer rides. This lot is just over one mile from the start line, secure, and FREE for our participants. Directions to the Parking lot: From the 5 fwy exit at Western Ave, from Western turn right on Flower St. The parking lot will be on your left. See map. Be sure to check out this video:

All riders must wear helmets.
Refillable water bottle recommended.
Technical and medical support available along the ride.

CENTURY (100 MILES)
If you've never done one, this ride is the perfect time to try it. The profile is very flat, very few inclines and none of them steep. This year's Century ride will be a new path and much improved based on your comments. Registration opens at 6:00 a.m. Ride starts at 7:00 a.m.

Park at 1625 Flower St., Glendale.

70 MILE RIDE "Park to Playa to Park"
From Griffith Park to Shoreline Aquatic Park, Long Beach, and return. Registration starts at 6:30 a.m. Ride starts at 7:30 a.m.

HALF CENTURY (50 MILES)
From Griffith Park to the City of Paramount and return. Registration starts at 7:00 a.m. Ride starts at 8:00 a.m.

36 MILE TRAINING RIDE
From The Autry to Maywood Riverfront Park and back. You'll spend 8 miles on the river path and detour through downtown for the remaining miles. Registration starts at 7:30 a.m. Ride starts at 8:30 a.m.

15 MILE FAMILY RIDE
This ride is perfect for families as the entire route is on a dedicated bike path on the river. For ages 7 and up. Kid's 12 and under ride for free thanks to Paramount City Parks and Recreation. All Children must be accompanied by an adult. Registration starts at 10:00 a.m. Ride starts at 11:00 a.m.

KIDS' RIDE AND FUN FAIR **
This year the Kid's Ride is FREE thanks to Paramount City Parks and Recreation. The ride will introduce young children to important bike safety lessons through fun, interactive activities. Kids 6 and under will practice their riding techniques on a festive bike loop. Bikes and trikes are welcome - all riders must wear a helmet. Prizes and t-shirts for all registrants. Registration and festivities begin at 10:00 a.m. to allow families the option to also join the Family Ride at 11 a.m.
