Go Ave 26 is a project that supports pedestrians and public transit users near the Lincoln/Cypress Station on the Metro Gold Line. This Metro stop and several nearby bus lines  support the neighborhoods of Elysian Valley, Cypress Park, and Lincoln Heights and while it provides necessary transportation between many different areas, the station area and nearby intersections lack clarity and safety. Avenue 26 is car-centric area is extremely difficult to navigate and represents typical conditions throughout Los Angeles. It’s marked by freeway on and off ramps, narrow sidewalks, and no pedestrian oriented signage.
