Join LACBC for Bike Month's Sunday Funday Ride starting and ending at The Wheelhouse in the Arts District. One of our favorite new local shops, The Wheelhouse combines community, coffee, and bikes, and is an active supporter of the Los Angeles County Bicycle Coalition. The route will explore neighborhoods north of Downtown L.A. including the newly opened Los Angeles State Historical Park. Come early for a great cup of coffee. Starting in May, The Wheelhouse will expand their food offerings, so plan to stick around afterwards for a bite to eat and see one of L.A.'s most exciting new spaces.
Don't have a bike but want to join the fun? Thanks to Metro, our Bike Month co-sponsor, we will have a limited number of Metro Bike Share bikes available for use on this Sunday Funday ride. Bike Share riders must be 16 or older, sign a bike share waiver, stay with the Sunday Funday group and will be able to use the bikes during the Sunday Funday ride only. Bikes are available on a first-come first-served basis limited to 20 bikes. If you need a bike and would like to check out a Bike Share bike, you must sign up in advance for a bike here: https://goo.gl/forms/uqWbqFaPjK5dqJQC3 This ride is part of a series of rides for Bike Month presented by Metro.
