EQUIP YOUR BIKE

These extras may be just what you need to make your trips more comfortable, safer or even more fun!

Bottle cages: Most frames have at least one mount for a bottle cage. Having your water bottles easily accessible can be a lifesaver on a long ride.

Bike computer: Small device mounted on your handlebars that tracks your riding time, distance and speed.

Fenders: Minimize splatter on your clothes and bicycle from wet and dirty streets.

Horn or bell: A loud horn may be best to capture a motorist's attention. A bell allows you to alert a pedestrian you're nearby without startling them.

Mirror: Mirrors can be attached to your handlebars, helmet or glasses to help you see traffic coming up behind you.
