MUST HAVES TO HAVE WITH YOU

Get these before you get going...

Tool kit: Always have your pump, spare tube, a patch kit, tire levers, and tools with you when you ride. Carry them in your bag, or get a tool bag that attaches under your saddle. You can get portable pumps that attach to your frame. A bicycle multi-tool will have most of the tools you would need on the road.

Lights and reflectors: Use front and rear lights when riding at night. Additionally, you must have reflectors on the wheels, pedals and rear of your bike.

Lock: Carry a lock if you plan to leave your bike unattended. Many locks include hardware for mounting them on your frame.
