WHAT IS BIKE TO SCHOOL DAY?
Bike to School Day (BTSD) is a national event to encourage students, parents, school staff, and volunteers to ride a bicycle to school.
WHY PARTICIPATE?
BTSD is a celebration to build traffic safety awareness and make it normal to bike to school.
It builds on LAUSD's work to teach middle school students bicycle safety and provides an opportunity to practice these new skills on the streets in the school neighborhood.
