About the event
Help LADOT collect data about how to improve the streets in your neighborhood for walking and biking. LACBC will lead two simultaneous bike audits to cover a variety of locations throughout Central LA. Both rides will highlight specific sections of road and particular intersections where participants will be asked to take mental note of conditions and be given a chance to share that feedback after the ride.
The Northern Loop will be a slightly longer ride and will cover more challenging streets. We recommend this ride for more experienced riders who are comfortable taking the lane when needed and who can maintain a slightly faster pace.
The Southern Loop will be a more family friendly and lesss complicated route. This route is more suitable for families and more casual riders who will be looking for a less challenging ride.
Please arrive at 9:30AM to check in for both rides.
Brief remarks will happen at 10AM.
The rides will depart at 10:15AM with the goal of returning by 11:45AM.
Upon return, we'll have some closing remarks to cover how folks can records their observations from the ride.
