LACBC Open House 2016 Highlights

Last night, LACBC hosted our 3rd Annual Open House where LACBC members and supporters came out to celebrate the year in cycling with food, drink, and good conversation. Take a look at some of the night’s highlights.

The LACBC Board and Staff thanks you for your support this year and every year!

The Bike Valet is ready for the night!

Our amazing volunteers helped set up and helped move merchandise. Thanks!

We always look forward to the Open House so that we can reconnect with our partners and bike buds.

Attendees added their favorite bicycling memories to our interactive timeline.

They get knocked down, but they get up again.

We had fun in our photo booth!

Open House attendees lined up for tacos.

We recognized some of the volunteers that work behind the scenes in our offices to help make L.A. County a healthy, safe, and fun place to ride a bike.

If you’ve been on an LACBC group ride this year, chances are that you’ve seen Jason (right), our Ride Marshal of the Year!

Santa Monica Spoke, LACBC’s first local chapter, was honored as Chapter of the Year for its success with bike share, the Expo Line extension, and getting more people out riding.

We also honored some of our outgoing board members who have put in so much time and energy to make LACBC a stronger organization. Thank you for your service! Pictured here: Herbie, Carrie, and Steve.

Many thanks to our friends at Angel City Brewery for providing the beer.

Thanks to Tern Bicycles and Pocrass & De Los Reyes for sponsoring the Open House!

Our local chapters rock!

Thank you again to our event sponsors at Pocrass & De Los Reyes, Tern Bicycles, and Angel City Brewery; Where to Bike Los Angeles, Jon Riddle, and Sarah Amelar for donating copies of the book; Expressions to Wear and Ray Aldridge for donating the Open House shirts; our photographers Ryan Duclos and Triumph Photobooth; Solar DJ Chris Gee; Taco Man Hampton; and all of our volunteers for making the night possible!
