Measure M: Spreading the Word with Mayor Garcetti

LACBC Volunteers pose with L.A. Mayor Eric Garcetti.

Measure M will bring much needed traffic and infrastructure improvements across the county to make the region more connected.

With the election one week away, Los Angeles City Mayor and Metro First Vice Chair Eric Garcetti is enthusiastically drumming up more support for this county measure in the final days.

While hitting the ground to get out the vote at the North Hollywood Metro Red Line Station, the Mayor was also in the Halloween spirit as he passed out out candy. Needless to say, many people were taken by surprise when they looked up to see who was making the offering.

LACBC staffers and many of our great San Fernando Valley volunteers also showed up to join the effort while having fun and spreading the word.

Mayor Garcetti was working hard getting the word out and candy too!

Even kids recognized the suited man handing out candy!

LACBC Executive Director Tamika Butler was very popular too!

All selfie requests were happily approved!

LACBC Super Volunteer Trent Whitaker went on an M & M run (for Measure M) when candy was low.

Even Cookie Monsters support Measure M!

Investing in Place Executive Director Jessica Meaney came out to support Yes on M!

Measure M will #MakeLACounty Greener!

The Mayor got in a quick interview with TV Azteca.

L.A. Bicycle Advisory Committee member Ron Meyer sported his L.A. River Ride Jersey.

Mayor Garcetti catching people off guard brought a lot of laughs!
