We'd like to invite you to one of our first in-person events since the pandemic began.

In partnership and Dr. Jim Adams and Enrique Villaseñor, LACBC is hosting a Bikes & Botany event on Sunday, July 11 near Griffith Park. Limited to the first 25 registrants, this event will go over medicinal plant identification and appropriate uses, California history, indigenous cultures, and how to Live in Balance. The class will also touch on the impact & legacy of California's mission period and early settlement by the Spanish. Reserve your spot today!

If getting to the park via the Griffith Park Soccer Field parking lot, walk to the east side of the park (towards the river). The path is on the left side of the tennis court office, between the tennis courts. Follow the path to the back and follow the “LA River” signs. Use the pedestrian bridge to cross over the 5 freeway. Once at the end of the bridge, make a right and the native garden will be right there.
Please keep in mind that once at the native garden, we’ll be talking a short walk around the park as we learn about the plants.
Dr. Adams & Enrique Villasenor will be selling copies of their book, “Healing with Medicinal Plants of the West” as well as other items available for sale.
